Hi Jon. I hope things are going well for you.
Here’s a link to a thread on Pinside that jogged my memory a little about us having a conversation once about a device like this that you wanted to use on a game. I think you said it was just two spinning rubber wheels that would fling the ball very fast. Did I dream this or was this something that was going to be on your Drag Race game?
Take care. Dennis Dodel
Yes, I used that device on Hot Shots. The game was originally going to be an aircraft carrier themed game, but Data east came out with Torpedo Alley so we changed the theme to a carnival shooting gallery.
Hi Jon. Do you have any info. on this game?
I vaguely remember this title. I didn’t work on it. Ray Tanzer at Stern may be of more help for information.
The game that I dod work on and was cancelled was “Tic Tac Lotto”. This was a street level game that got killed when Gottlieb returned back to ramp games. The game had the ball pop unit from Chicago Coin Criss Cross Pop Up under the playfield. It was mounted to the bottom of cabinet. Shots would pop 1 ball or multiple balls. There was even a backglass painting completed on this title.
